Heritage & Innovation Intern

The Lifestyle-Tech Competence Center (LTCC) in Lugano is looking for a motivated student to help our growing organization.

About us

The Lifestyle-Tech Competence Center (LTCC) is focused on stimulating R&D activities in lifestyle-related industries (fashion, travel, design, etc.), scouting and innovative labs set-up, promoting knowledge and competence sharing among private firms, Swiss universities, and research partners.

Among others, the founding partners of LTCC are well-established international corporations, including Accenture, Bally, Barilla, Guess, Lavazza, and Microsoft.

About the internship

We know that as a student, you are at an exciting point of discovering your interests and polishing your work skills. Intern with us if you wish to gain a better understanding of Heritage & Innovation and be part of the meaningful project.

You will be involved in a major archive digitization project and have the opportunity to work directly with some of our founding companies, all international leaders in their fields. You will learn about the importance of heritage in fashion, history preservation, knowledge sharing and innovation (virtual exhibition, cataloging, metadata, artificial intelligence).

You will get the opportunity to actively learn new technologies related to the fashion industry, you will be part of a dynamic team and get reimbursement of transport costs and free coffee!

Tasks

The intern will support the Heritage & Innovation Coordinator:

  • Learning about different operations, project management, logistics and inventory
  • Ensuring that procedures are performed correctly
  • Collecting product information

Requirements

The one essential requirement is that you’re currently studying. Other skills we’re looking for include:

  • Good English skills
  • Interest in innovation and fashion
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic to learn
  • Good organisational skills and ability to self-prioritise workload
  • Able to work in team
  • Good MS office knowledge (especially Excel and Power Point)
