LTCC invests in research excellence by funding Francesca Manna’s PhD in USI

Lugano, 27 March 2026 – LTCC funds Francesca Manna’s PhD in User Experience and Human-Computer Interaction in Digital Fashion Communication at USI

The Lifestyle-Tech Competence Center (LTCC) is pleased to announce the funding of Francesca Manna’s PhD in Digital Fashion Communication at USI – Università della Svizzera italiana.

The decision to fund the doctoral position was approved unanimously by the Members of the LTCC Association during the General Assembly held on 25 February 2026, confirming LTCC’s continued commitment to supporting research and innovation in the intersection of technology, fashion, and communication.

We are also pleased to share that USI’s PhD Committee has formally approved Francesca’s candidacy on 18 March 2026, marking the official start of her doctoral studies.

Throughout her PhD journey, Francesca will remain part of the LTCC team, continuing her work on projects in User Experience (UX) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) developed in collaboration with LTCC Members. Her research will further enhance the collaboration between LTCC and USI in advancing knowledge and best practices within the growing field of Digital Fashion Communication.
