Lugano, 9 June 2026 – During its Ordinary General Assembly, the Lifestyle Tech Competence Center association formally approved the election of the members of its newly established Scientific Committee.
The creation of the Scientific Committee marks a strategic milestone for LTCC, establishing a formal advisory body designed to bridge academic excellence with industry innovation across the lifestyle tech ecosystem, spanning fashion & lifestyle sectors, leveraging digital technology and corporate research.
The newly appointed committee brings together an international group of academic experts, researchers, and tech industry executives:
Marco D’Ambros — Director of CodeLounge, the software research and development center of the Software Institute at USI (Università della Svizzera italiana). He contributes extensive expertise in software engineering and applied R&D.
Mauro Centonze — Swiss Research Lead at Accenture, bringing strong background in enterprise research, technological innovation, and digital transformation.
Prof. Emanuela Mora — Full Professor at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, a leading expert in the sociology of cultural processes, communication, and fashion studies.
Nicola Moresi — CEO of moresi.com and member of the LTCC Management Committee, offering specialized insight into IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and regional tech leadership.
Dr. Nadzeya Sabatini — Assistant Professor (Tenure Track) at Gdańsk University of Technology and Researcher at USI. She is among the founders of the FACTUM conference series, the premier academic event series dedicated to Digital Fashion Communication.
Prof. María Teresa Sádaba Garraza — Full Professor (Catedrática) at the University of Navarra (Spain) and former Director of ISEM Fashion Business School, widely recognized as a international authority in fashion business and strategic communication.
The first official meeting of the Scientific Committee has already been convened for the coming months and will take place in person at the association’s headquarters in Lugano.
LTCC extends its heartfelt gratitude to Professor Lorenzo Cantoni. On 24 September 2025, the LTCC General Assembly mandated Professor Cantoni to form the LTCC Scientific Committee and serve as its President until this first election, leading to the successful establishment of this strategic body.
The association offers its warmest congratulations to all newly elected members on their appointment and looks forward to collaborating with them to guide LTCC’s future scientific vision.
