LTCC is a nonprofit association, co-founded in 2019 and financed by Accenture, Barilla, Lavazza, Hyphen, USI, SUPSI, Loomish, Dagorà, Moresi.com, Microsoft, and UBS. The research center is facilitating the set-up of research projects, creating business networking events, managing start-up scouting, and setting-up a research lab dedicated to content innovation production.
Carlo Terreni, President of the Lifestyle-Tech Competence Center, “Our team is currently fully operational on 4 major research projects in the field of GenZ Research, Heritage & Innovation, AI Omnichannel optimization and 3D Prototyping. In the next months, we also plan to expand our operations to territorial marketing and start-up scouting. Furthermore, we plan to hire 4 new resources by April 2022 covering the functions of Innovation managers, PHD students, 3D Design experts, and start-up analysts. Many other important investments for Canton Ticino will be communicated after our General Assembly next November.”
Accenture, member of LTCC, which announced earlier this year its strong hiring strategy for the Canton Ticino creating many qualified jobs. The world’s leading consulting company is also investing in R&D projects which have been allocated to the LTCC research team and local startups.

Digital talents born and raised in Ticino, are currently employed all over the world. However, a trend is indicating that they want to return to their beloved Ticino. “We are very pleased with the launch of the “Back to Switzerland” project in collaboration with OSA (Organization of the Swiss Abroad). Our network and headhunters have been activated and are specifically looking for highly qualified Swiss and Ticino natives abroad, who are interested to come back to Ticino and contribute to the relaunch of our economy”, tells Giovanna Melillo, Senior Manager at Accenture Interactive.

Dagorà Lifestyle Innovation Hub, member of LTCC, is the co-working space where both Accenture and LTCC are located, Although the company launched its co-working in the middle of the pandemic, today already over 20 companies, among which Microsoft, Kilpatrick, innovative tech providers like Skylabs, Hyphen, Artificially, Loomish and investors like Barrique Invest, took residence. The current social and economic situation created an agile-working boom.
