Heritage Event in Lugano explores the Strategic Value of Company Archives

Lugano, 10 June 2026 – LTCC hosted yesterday the Heritage event, “Transforming Company Archive into Strategic Value” bringing together a strong audience of professionals, partners, and stakeholders for an afternoon of exchange and reflection on the strategic role of heritage in the lifestyle and fashion industries.

The event welcomed more than 50 participants in person and over 20 participants online, connecting attendees from Central Switzerland and Milan. This strong turnout confirmed the growing interest in heritage as a strategic topic and further positioned Lugano as a meeting point between heritage culture and innovation.

The event explored how company archives can move beyond preservation to become an active asset for identity building, innovation, and long-term value creation. Through the lens of digital technologies and artificial intelligence, speakers and participants discussed how heritage can support new forms of storytelling, customer engagement, and business development.

             

The program featured contributions from Roberto Badaracco, Vice Mayor of the City of Lugano; Heinz Zeller, Vice President of LTCC & Principal Sustainability at Hugo Boss; Lorenzo Osti, President of C.P. Company; Prof. Lorenzo Cantoni, Università della Svizzera italiana (USI); and Stefano Righetti, CEO of Hyphen Group. Their perspectives offered a rich and complementary view on the opportunities and challenges associated with heritage transformation in today’s evolving market context.

The session was moderated by Carlo Terreni, whose engaging approach helped foster an open and dynamic conversation throughout the event. LTCC also extends its thanks to the entire team for the excellent organization and coordination of the initiative.

             

Among the attendees were representatives from leading organizations and brands, including Hugo Boss, C.P. Company, VF Corporation, Guess, Mammut, Victorinox, USI, SUPSI, City of Lugano, Dagorà, Hyphen and many other relevant companies.

The strong participation and high level of engagement confirmed the relevance of the topic and the growing interest in heritage as a strategic driver for innovation. The event also reflected LTCC’s ongoing commitment to supporting dialogue, collaboration, and knowledge sharing within the local and international innovation ecosystem.
